Job details
Sugatsune is a manufacturer and distributor of high-end architectural and industrial hardware and their operations have constantly grown over the last five years across Canada. They are looking for a seasoned warehousing professional to oversee their operations in the warehouse which includes but not limited to receiving, picking, packing, shipping, inventory management for their location in Montreal, in the Pointe aux Trembles area. The main tasks: * Verify incoming stock, record quantities, Lot# * Picking of orders per the picking sheet * Packing based on sizes and weights of goods (various box sizes & Pallets for large orders) * Process shipments, 99% locally (UPS, PURO; LOOMIS; GLS, LTL, ?etc.) * Distribute stock and allocate space as needed * Perform cycle counting and identify shortcomings * Repacking & assembly of certain items * General housekeeping of the warehouse premise and equipment * Records keeping and reporting on warehouse consumables * Plan and manage general inventory counts * Communication with team members via email & telephone * Operate the sit-down forklift lift when required * Participate in other special projects as required by Management. EXIGENCES * Minimum of 2 years? experience in warehouse operations and/or logistics. * Being able to lift weights up to 50 lbs. * Hands-on and dedicated to quality service Required Skills: The ideal candidate will: * Have attention to detail, be accurate and upholds the highest standards * Good communication skills (verbal and written) in both French and English * Good knowledge of MS Office applications (MS Outlook; MS Word & MS Excel). * Have strong team spirit and work ethics. * Be organized and autonomous. An asset: * Knowledge of Architectural & Industrial hardware * Knowledge of Cabinet making * Forklift experience (Sit down) Job Type: Full-time Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour Expected hours: 40 per week Benefits: * Dental care * Extended health care * Life insurance * On-site parking * Vision care Schedule: * 8 hour shift Experience: * warehouse: 2 years (required) Work Location: In person- LocationMontréal, QC
