Nester/Detailer OVERVIEW Lopes Limited is looking for a Nester/Detailer. We are seeking safety first minded people with good communication skills, attention to detail and can work in a team-based environment. Nesting parts and completing work orders ? Reading and interpreting engineering and construction drawings ? Developing project sketches, designs, and drawings ? Performing material take-offs from construction drawings ? Preparing proposal, working, and as-built drawings according to job specifications ? Examining drawings for conformity and errors ? Communicating design concerns or potential efficiencies with the project team ? Preparing drawings from physical samples ? Other duties and tasks as assigned by the supervisor QUALIFICATIONS ? Experience with Nesting (platework & structural) ? knowledge of Omni win and Steel Projects is an asset ? Basic knowledge of AutoCAD, Inventor and TEKLA Structures is preferred ? 3+ years of experience in detailing preferred ? Strong written and verbal communication skills, with excellent interpersonal abilities ? Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team ? Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills ? Flexible, self-motivated, and driven to achieve customer satisfaction goals ?
