_Registered Dental Hygienist _ *Dental hygienist position at SmileCrafters Dental* We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about oral health, possess excellent clinical skills, and demonstrate a commitment to patient education and satisfaction. Responsibilities: - Perform dental cleanings, including scaling, root planing, and polishing, fluoride application, impression taking, in office Zoom! Whitening and intra oral photos - Conduct comprehensive oral health assessments, including examining patients' teeth and gums for signs of disease or abnormalities. - Take x-rays as necessary for diagnostic purposes. - Apply fluoride varnish - Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and provide personalized recommendations for at-home care. -Educate patients on malocclusion and any other risk factors that may contribute to poor oral health. - Document patient treatment plans, progress notes, and other relevant information accurately and efficiently. - Collaborate with other members of the dental team to ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care and a positive patient experience. Requirements: - Diploma in Dental Hygiene from an accredited program. - Valid CDHO license to practice dental hygiene. - CPR certification. - Strong clinical skills - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to educate and engage patients effectively. - Attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate patient records.
