Seeking CPA *Overview* We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced General Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting regulations, and providing insightful financial analysis. This position requires strong analytical skills and proficiency in accounting software to support our corporate finance objectives. *Duties* * Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements and reports. * Perform monthly bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy of accounts. * Manage accounts receivable, including invoicing and collections. * Conduct financial audits to ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations. * Process payroll accurately and on time, ensuring adherence to relevant laws. * Analyze accounts to identify discrepancies and recommend corrective actions. * Utilize accounting software such as PeopleSoft and QuickBooks for efficient record-keeping. * Collaborate with other departments to support financial planning and budgeting processes. *Skills* * Proficiency in accounting software, particularly PeopleSoft and QuickBooks. * Strong knowledge of financial auditing principles and practices. * Experience with payroll processing and accounts receivable management. * Ability to perform detailed bank reconciliations and account analysis. * Understanding of corporate finance concepts and regulations. * Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail. * Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively. * Effective communication skills for collaboration with team members and stakeholders.
