Job details
Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year. Work setting: Urban area. Relocation costs not covered by employer. Nursing home/home for the aged. Tasks: Perform other duties related to personal care. Supply and empty bed pans. Serve meal trays and feed patients. Weigh, lift, turn and position patients. Make beds and maintain patients' rooms. Administer suppositories, colonic irrigations and enemas. Bathe, dress and groom patients. Transport patients in wheelchair or stretcher. Answer call signals to determine patients' needs. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : CPR Certificate. Nursing Aide Certificate. Security and safety: Criminal record check. Vulnerable sector check. Adult Abuse Registry check. Transportation/travel information: Travel expenses not paid by employer. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Work under pressure.
