With first-class offerings, an acclaimed culinary team, and a genuinely kind-hearted service team, our mission is to make this your moment. *We are currently hiring General Managers to support various JRG pub locations!* Our ideal candidate can lead by example and uplift our staff during busy moments in this fast-paced environment. The General Manager works in partnership with the Head Chef to ensure the establishment operates efficiently and that each and every customer has a positive and pleasant dining experience. *Responsibilities of the General Manager include:* * Coordinate daily Front of the House operations * Maintain revenue, profitability and quality goals * Ensure efficient restaurant operation * Maintaining high level people, product, service and environment * Hold all employees accountable for service standards, performance and appearance * Develop and maintain relationships to ensure guests remain loyal and return * Adhere to company standards and service levels * Control operational costs and identify areas of opportunity to improve profitability * Implement policies, systems and routines that will maintain restaurant operations * Ensure financial and payroll related administrative duties are completed accurately on time and in accordance with company policies and procedures * Ensure each shift is staffed appropriately to meet budget and understand the scheduling process based on budget and sales forecast * Auditing staff performance and providing feedback * On-boarding, training and development of the service and leadership teams * Maintain favourable working relationship with all company employees to foster and promote a cooperative and harmonious working environment which will be conducive to maximize employee morale and productivity * Creating detailed reports on weekly revenue and expenses * Promote the brand in the local community through word-of-mouth and restaurant events *Working Conditions:* * Hours and shifts may vary. * Must be available evenings, weekends and holidays. *Requirements:* * Exceptional understanding of The Joseph Richard Group mission statement, philosophy and service standards * Completed Food & Beverage testing * Experience overseeing a dining operation, building relationships with guests and balancing seating capacity * Strong leadership, communication, motivational and people skills * Strong financial management skills *Assets:* * An ability to lead and take initiative * Proven work experience as a manager in the hospitality industry * Proven customer service experience as a manager *Compensation:* * Competitive compensation package including tips and performance based bonuses * Staff discount at all JRG locations and discounted meals during shifts * Opportunity to participate in the Company?s Extended Health Benefits Plan after 6 months of employment * Access to ongoing training and development through Joseph Richard University (JRU) * Opportunity for advancement throughout all JRG establishments and divisions * Opportunity to participate in JRG?s Join Us Employee Referral Program For more information, please visit: https://www.jrg.ca/join-us/ Job Type: Full-time Pay: From $48,000.00 per year Additional pay: * Bonus pay * Tips Benefits: * Company events * Discounted or free food * Extended health care Schedule: * Day shift * Evening shift Application question(s): * Which JRG pub location(s) are you most interested in working at? https://www.jrg.ca/locations/ * What is your availability?
