Are you a compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) who enjoys working in a patient-focused, family-oriented environment? We are seeking a skilled and caring LPN to join our friendly and dedicated team at our Family Medicine Office. As an integral part of our practice, you will provide high-quality care to patients of all ages, support our physicians, and help create a welcoming atmosphere for every patient who walks through our doors. *Key Responsibilities:* * Patient Care: Assist with patient assessments, taking vital signs, and preparing patients for exams. * Clinical Support: Assist physicians with patient exams, procedures, and treatments, ensuring patient comfort and safety. * Administer Medications: Provide injections, immunizations, and other prescribed treatments. * Patient Education: Educate patients and families on managing chronic conditions, preventive care, and general health concerns. * Documentation: Maintain accurate and timely patient records in our electronic health record (EHR) system. * Team Collaboration: Work closely with our physicians, nurses, and office staff to provide a coordinated, patient-centered care experience. *Qualifications*: * Active LPN license in Nova Scotia * Previous experience as an LPN, preferably in a family medicine or outpatient setting (but not required). * Strong clinical skills and ability to perform basic medical procedures. * Communication and interpersonal skills, with a compassionate and professional demeanor. * Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment and provide excellent patient care. * Proficiency with Medacces EMR systems and basic computer skills.
