*Overview* We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Delivery Driver to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations while ensuring timely and safe delivery. The ideal candidate will possess strong driving skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to providing excellent customer service. This position requires operating various types of vehicles and may involve handling freight and heavy equipment. *Responsibilities* * Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport goods to designated locations. * Load and unload freight, ensuring proper handling of items. * Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance. * Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation. * Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise. * Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while on the road. * Assist in the maintenance of the vehicle, including basic automotive repairs as needed. * Operate forklifts or other heavy equipment when required for loading/unloading. *Experience* * Proven experience in commercial driving or delivery roles is preferred. * Familiarity with freight handling procedures is a plus. * Experience in heavy equipment operation is desirable. * Basic knowledge of automotive repair is beneficial for maintaining vehicle performance. * Forklift certification or experience operating forklifts is an advantage. * Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively.
