<h3>Job Description</h3><div>Job Description<div><p><strong>Job Description:</strong></p><p>Open-Minded Service Center Inc. is seeking for dedicated and compassionate <strong>Registered Psychologists</strong> to join our team. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive psychological assessments, therapeutic interventions, and evidence-based treatments to individuals, couples, and families. You will work within a multidisciplinary team to address a range of psychological issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, stress management, relationship difficulties, and other mental health challenges. <em><strong>The successful candidates will pay the contractor 60% of the billed therapy hourly rate. </strong></em></p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Conduct psychological assessments, diagnosis, and treatment planning.</li><li>Provide individual, couple, and/or group therapy using evidence-based approaches.</li><li>Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to clients' needs.</li><li>Collaborate with other healthcare professionals (e.g., social workers, psychiatrists) to coordinate care.</li><li>Maintain accurate and confidential client records.</li><li>Participate in regular case conferences, team meetings, and professional development.</li><li>Stay updated on the latest research and developments in psychology.</li></ul><p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li><strong>Registered Psychologist</strong> with the appropriate regulatory body in Alberta.</li><li>Doctoral or Master's degree in Psychology (Clinical or Counselling).</li><li>Minimum 1 - 2 years of experience in clinical practice.</li><li>Proficient in evidence-based therapy modalities (e.g., CBT, DBT, EMDR).</li><li>Strong therapeutic skills.</li><li>Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving abilities.</li><li>Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.</li></ul><p><strong>Preferred Qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li>Experience working with diverse populations.</li><li>Specialized training in trauma, substance use, or child psychology.</li><li>Excellent English communication skills is an asset.</li><li>Familiarity with teletherapy and virtual care platforms.</li></ul><p><strong>What We Offer:</strong></p><ul><li>Professional development opportunities.</li><li>Supportive work environment with a focus on work-life balance.</li><li>Flexible scheduling options (remote, in-person (as needed), or hybrid).</li><li>Access to a network of professionals and resources.</li></ul><p><strong>Application Process:</strong></p><p>Interested candidates are invited to submit their <strong>resume, cover letter.</strong> Please include "Registered Psychologist Application" in the subject line.</p><p><strong>Note:</strong></p><ul><li>Applicants must be legally eligible to work in Canada.</li><li>Successful candidates will be required to undergo a criminal background check.</li></ul></div></div>
