*ROLE: *Production Assistant *REPORTS TO: *Production Manager *LOCATION: *Guelph We are looking for a *Production Assistant *to join our Production Team! Our Production Assistant is responsible for completing a variety of tasks in a timely and efficient manner. *Opportunities* This is a very exciting time for the Production Team as we continue to grow and expand! You will be assisting the Operators in completing their production orders, removing filled cartons from the conveyors, and manually packing goods into boxes. You will have to clear work areas and assist with basic sanitation procedures. *Here is who you are?* _*Drive & motivation*_ * You want to be part of a successful and dedicated team. * You enjoy the challenge of a fast-paced work environment. _*Character & ABILITIES*_ * You are attentive to details * You can lift up to 20kg _*Knowledge & skills*_ * You understand basic GMP Practices. _*Experience*_ * You have at least 1 year of experience in the Dairy manufacturing industry. * You have a willingness to learn *Things you will do?* * Drive excellent results focusing on accuracy and efficiency * Create outstanding reports to help us understand the current state of finance * Assist filler operators in completing production orders * Remove goods from conveyors and manually pack them into boxes * Check products and packaging for basic quality defects * Operate equipment supporting filler operations, such as box forming, bottle washing, and labeling machinery *OTHER ?* * You might need to work overtime during the eggnog season. * Shift Timings: Monday to Friday Job Type: Full-time Pay: $19.55 per hour Expected hours: 40 ? 44 per week Benefits: * Company pension * Dental care * Employee assistance program * Extended health care * On-site parking * Paid time off * Vision care Schedule: * Monday to Friday Experience: * Manufacturing: 1 year (preferred) Work Location: In person- LocationGuelph, ON
