WorleyCord Teamco Ltd., a subsidiary of WorleyCord Lp., is seeking: *Journeyperson & Apprentice Pipefitters* To work at our *Blackfalds Modular Yard* in the *Blackfalds area* *SALARY*: Up to $46.50 per hour *OVERTIME*: After 40 hours in a week *TRAVEL: *Local position ? no travel *START DATE: *ASAP *SCHEDULE*: 5 days on, 2 days off *HOURS PER DAY: *10 hours per day *PAY SCHEDULE: *Weekly Pay (Friday) *SHIFT*: Dayshift *ACCOMODATIONS: *Local Position *DURATION*: Ongoing *WORK SCOPE: *Modular Yard *Working Conditions:* Full-time, Temporary Employee benefits provided by OpenCircle Work will be primarily outdoors in various weather conditions *Requirements:* * Must have a valid Journeyperson or Apprentice Certification from a recognized provincial training authority * CSTS 2020 Certification * WHMIS2015 * ESC Elevated Work Platform * ESC Fall Protection * Must have demonstrated ability to work under minimal supervision * Previous industrial construction experience is an asset *Responsibilities* * Demonstrates knowledge of functional operation of various piping system components by measuring, cutting, threading, grooving and bending of pipes, valves and fittings * Assembles and installs piping sections according to blueprints and job specifications * Performs physically demanding tasks such as cutting openings for pipe while standing for extended periods of time and securing pipe in hard-to-reach areas * Uses testing equipment effectively to check for system leaks and troubleshoot fitting errors * May perform other related duties as assigned * Complete all required safety documentation * Working at heights and outdoors * Rigging experience Job Type: Full-time Pay: Up to $46.50 per hour Expected hours: No more than 50 per week Additional pay: * Overtime pay Schedule: * 10 hour shift * Day shift * Monday to Friday * Overtime Ability to commute/relocate: * Blackfalds, AB: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required) Application question(s): * Are you able to start right away?
