Education: No degree, certificate or diploma. Work site environment: Noisy. Dusty. Work setting: Manufacturing and industrial plant. Tasks: Perform ongoing machine adjustments. Operate stone-dressing lathe to sharpen and dress grindstones that grind logs into pulp. Finish stone products with spray paint and by mounting plaques or installing concrete bases. Finish surfaces of castings using screed or trowel. Cut, surface, polish and install marble and granite. Clean, polish, file or otherwise finish products. Equipment and machinery experience: Polishing machines. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Handling heavy loads. Physically demanding. Combination of sitting, standing, walking. Standing for extended periods. Bending, crouching, kneeling. Weight handling: Up to 45 kg (100 lbs). Personal suitability: Team player. Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year.
