We are currently seeking a great, reliable, and dynamic Cashier to join the team. This is a key position that requires a high standard of customer service in a fast-paced environment. *Job overview:* The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent guest experience skills by way of handling high-volume guest intake while maintaining a charming personality and a positive attitude. They will be able to handle cash and credit transactions accurately and efficiently and embody excellent knowledge of the menu as a central prerequisite to succeeding in this position. If you embody these qualities, we invite you to submit your application! *What you will do in this role:* *Duties:* * Greet customers and provide a welcoming atmosphere * Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently * Handle cash, credit, and check transactions with precision * Assist customers in locating products and making recommendations * Upsell products and services to enhance the customer experience * Conduct product demonstrations when required * Maintain a clean and organized checkout area * Answer customer inquiries in person or over the phone * Utilize POS systems for sales transactions * Ensure customer satisfaction by resolving any issues promptly * Collaborate and assisting kitchen and service teams *Skills:* * Strong mathematical skills and basic computer system knowledge * Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment * Customer satisfaction-oriented * Strong communication and time management skills * Problem solving and decision making * Experience as a Retail Cashier is an asset * Ability to handle moderate physical demands: standing for 8 hours, lift a medium size merchandise if required *Experience:* * Prior experience in retail sales or customer service preferred * Proficiency in cash handling procedures * Ability to operate Point of Sale (POS) systems effectively * Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks simultaneously * Excellent communication skills to interact with customers and team members * Experience in upselling products or services is a plus * Familiarity with technology sales and product demonstrations is advantageous * Fluency in English is required; multilingual abilities are a bonus * Knowledge of phone etiquette for professional customer interactions The GC Burger is an inclusive and diverse work environment.
