*Job Overview* We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Sales Associate to join our team at Global Pet Foods- Kingston Road. The ideal candidate will have a passion for pets, customer service and a drive to achieve sales goals. As a Sales Associate, you will play a crucial role in delivering an exceptional shopping experience, assisting customers with their needs, and contributing to the overall success of the store. *Duties* * Engage with customers to provide outstanding service and support throughout their shopping experience. * Assist customers in selecting products and provide recommendations to meet the needs of their pets * Handle cash transactions accurately, ensuring proper cash handling and cashiering procedures are followed. * Maintain an organized and visually appealing sales floor by restocking merchandise, organizing displays, and ensuring cleanliness. * Process transactions efficiently while utilizing basic math skills for accurate cash handling. * Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly to ensure customer satisfaction. * Collaborate with team members to meet sales targets and contribute to a positive team environment. * Stay informed about product features, promotions, and store policies to effectively assist customers. *Experience* * Previous experience in retail or customer service is preferred but not required. * Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment. * Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written. * Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated. * Basic math skills are essential for handling transactions and providing accurate change. *What's in it for you* * Employee Discount * 1 free bag of dog or cat food a month * Opportunity for advancement * Nice work environment Join us as we strive to create memorable experiences for our customers while achieving our sales goals together!
