_Experience Journeyman Crane Operator_ *The Company:* United Roofing Inc. is a growing and dynamic industry leader that prides itself on safety, quality, and customer satisfaction. In the past decade, United Roofing has grown from a small residential roofing business into a fully integrated building envelope contractor. Our offices in Vancouver, Calgary and Edmonton offer superior Commercial & Residential Roofing, Siding & Building Envelope Services, Traffic Coatings Application & Commercial Below Ground Waterproofing. *Position:* We are currently looking to hire an Experienced Journeyman Crane Operator to join our growing team. Projects vary from high end residential to large commercial projects. Hours are weather dependent but average 40-60 a week. Our Ideal candidate will be a reliable and responsible person who can work efficiently in a team atmosphere, using their knowledge and skills to achieve the task at hand. A safe professional mentality and solid work ethic are important to our company culture. *Responsibilities and Duties:* * As our only crane operator, you will be responsible for safely operating our 30-ton crane. * Being that you would be our only operator, it is imperative that you would be on time, perform preventive maintenance, keep the crane clean and in good order. * All our work is in town and all in house, so no dealing with outside customers, just our employees. * We mostly load commercial flat roofs, but we do have additional products that only need to be ground dropped to various sites. *Required for applicants:* * _*Must have a valid Class 3 license with a clean driver?s abstract.*_ * _*Must have a journeyman ticket.*_ * Must be able to pass drug and alcohol screening. * Must be knowledgeable and work and think independently and be able to trouble shoot problems that might arise. *What United Roofing can offer you:* * Positive and Enjoyable Work Environment * Industry Competitive Wages * Training and Certification (Tickets, Skills, Apprenticeship, etc.) * Paths to Advancement Within Company * Co-pay Health Insurance (After 6 Months) * Company Cell Phone * 2 weeks paid vacation _*\*Only selected applicants will be contacted*_ Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: $35.00-$40.00 per hour Additional pay: * Overtime pay Benefits: * Dental care * Extended health care * Life insurance * On-site gym * On-site parking Schedule: * 10 hour shift * 8 hour shift * Monday to Friday * Overtime Ability to commute/relocate: * Calgary, AB: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required) Licence/Certification: * Crane operator certification (required) Work Location: In person- LocationCalgary, AB
