*Position Summary:* All Pro Systems Ltd. is currently looking to fill two Steamfitter/Pipefitter positions on our team. We're looking for applicants with qualifications and experience ranging from Labourer to Journeyman. We have an immediate need for multiple hires. *Responsibilities:* * Install and maintain piping and associated systems adhering to acts and regulations to company standards * Perform preventative maintenance procedures, to minimize downtime and maintenance costs, and manage equipment efficiencies * Operating the necessary equipment for pipe fitting (pipe beveling, pipe threading, pipe cutting, groover, torch or plasma cutter, drill press etc.) * Measure, cut, thread, groove, bend, assemble and install metal pipe, valves, and fittings. * Communicate with clients when on site to ensure that all needs are met * Maintain a clear line of communication between the client and our company *Job Skills & Qualifications:* * Able to read and understand construction blueprints, diagrams, and specifications used in installation activities. * Able to work in unusual and sometimes difficult positions such as climbing ladders, scaffolding and high lift equipment, working within ducts, crawl spaces, above ceilings, etc. * Ability to adhere to, implement, and always follow safety guidelines and procedures. * Ability to multi-task and prioritize work tasks. * Professional attitude and ability to work closely and communicate well with coworkers, other trades and/or clients. * Completed a minimum of Grade 12 or equivalent. * Must have at least a Class G Driver?s License. * Must have access to own vehicle to be able to get to and from the Shop in Brantford each day. * Must be physically capable of performing all work required of this position. * Must be able to communicate clearly and effectively, both in written and verbal communication. * Must have strong interpersonal and problem -solving skills. * Maintain company vehicle to neat, clean, and safe standards (where applicable). * Very punctual and dependable. * Ability to take direction and work with a minimal amount of supervision. *Salary:* * Starting at $20 - $40 per hour; hiring rate is negotiable per applicant based on your experience and willingness to take on a lead-role * Paid travel Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Apprenticeship Pay: $20.00-$40.00 per hour Benefits: * Dental care * Extended health care Flexible language requirement: * French not required Schedule: * Monday to Friday * Weekends as needed Work Location: On the road Expected start date: 2024-11-25- LocationBrant, ON
