*Overview* We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Material Handler to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse by managing the flow of materials and products. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to operate various types of equipment safely and effectively. *Key Accountabilities:* * Performs various manual labor functions such as picking inventory, product and material and loading goods; uses reach truck and/or manual equipment such as hand truck. * Moving goods packed on pallets around the storage facility on a stand-up reach truck or order picker * Stacking goods in the correct storage bays, following inventory control instructions * Checking loads are secure * Stacking empty pallets * Performing daily equipment checks such as recharging the truck?s battery *Experience and Qualification* * Must possess at least 2 years of prior experience in a similar role * Must possess a valid reach truck operator license * Must possess a valid order picker operator and fall protection license * Must possess at least a high school diploma * Be able to communicate fluently in English * Must be legally able to work in Canada *Work Environment & Physical Demands* * Fast paced environment * Material handling equipment traffic * Constant standing and walking through the shift * May need to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. * Some pushing, pulling and lifting If you are looking for an opportunity to contribute to a fast-paced warehouse environment while developing your skills, we encourage you to apply for the Material Handler position today!
