We seek a skilled Storage Manager Assistant to join our team and support our operations. Position Overview: The Storage Manager Assistant will support our Storage Manager by overseeing inventory operations, coordinating material orders, and managing quality control processes. This role is crucial for ensuring the timely and efficient availability of materials and machinery and maintaining a smooth production flow in our facility. Key Responsibilities: Assist in ordering materials, machinery, and other supplies essential for project success. Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery and adherence to specifications. Monitor quality control standards, inspecting materials to ensure they meet our high standards. Track and manage inventory levels to ensure adequate supply for ongoing projects. Assist with inventory documentation and ensure proper storage and labeling. Collaborate closely with the fabrication and production teams to streamline operations. Support ongoing improvements in inventory management and quality assurance processes. Qualifications: Background in structural steel, manufacturing, or a similar trade is required. Strong understanding of quality control processes in a fabrication setting. Experience with ordering and inventory management in a fast-paced environment. Proficient in using inventory management and ERP software is an asset. Excellent communication skills for coordinating with suppliers and internal teams. Detail-oriented and highly organized with a proactive approach to problem-solving. Why Join Us?
