Gear Power is growing and we are looking for skilled mechanics to join our team in Mississauga. Our service centre specializes in truck-mounted hydraulics, SPIF, snow control equipment and building dump trucks. Our mechanics play a key role in our operations and we aim to provide them with the right environment and training in order to excel at their job. Some responsibilities for this role include: * Diagnosing truck issues and making the correct repair recommendations * Installing truck hydraulic and SPIF axle systems * Ability to perform repairs on truck sensors, pumps, PTOs, and more *Job Requirements:* * You possess one of the following credentials: 310S, 310T, 310J, 433A *OR* at have at least 3 years experience working in a mechanic shop * You have your own tools * Passionate about being a mechanic * Able to lift up to 40lbs * You are dependable, reliable, and able to work in a team environment *\**310T or truck service experience is a plus. You will receive comprehensive training on the job. This is a great opportunity for individuals who are looking to work in a small shop setting and improve their mechanic skill set. *Work Hours and Location:* * Monday - Friday: 8AM - 4PM, 4PM - Midnight * Location: Mississauga * Work in-person * You will be working on a team of mechanics, reporting to the Shop Foreperson Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: $25.00-$45.00 per hour Expected hours: 40 per week Benefits: * On-site parking Schedule: * 8 hour shift * Evening shift * Monday to Friday * Morning shift Application question(s): * Do you have your own set of tools? * Do you prefer the morning shift (8AM - 4PM) or evening shift (4PM - Midnight)?
