BNA Brewing Vernon is thrilled to announce our upcoming opening in the heart of Vernon! We are transforming the historic Finning building on Kalamalka Lake Road into a vibrant destination featuring an on-site craft brewery and a spacious eatery. Our new location will offer a dynamic and fun environment, complete with 10-pin bowling lanes, family-friendly duckpin bowling, a retro-inspired arcade, and an outdoor bocce court. We're looking for passionate culinary professionals to join our team beginning in January and be a part of this exciting adventure. We have expectations and standards that we want to uphold, but how you get there is up to you. *The Opportunity:* As a line cook you will have the opportunity to advance your culinary journey by working with our innovative menu offerings and a team of dedicated and talented cooks who share a passion for the culinary arts. Join us and be a part of a dynamic kitchen where creativity and excellence are at the heart of everything we do. *The Responsibilities:* * Prepare and cook meals in accordance with our menu and chef?s specifications. * Maintain the efficient flow of kitchen orders to service * Ensure the accuracy, presentation, and temperature of dishes * Set up and stock stations with necessary supplies, including mise en place for upcoming service. * Ensure the quality and freshness of ingredients and dishes. * Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to food safety standards. * Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely preparation and delivery of dishes. * Assist in developing new menu items and specials, bringing creativity to the table. * Handle, store, and rotate all products properly and in accordance with health department regulations * Maintain constant communication among team members *Qualifications:* * Have a passion for food and feed off the buzz of a busy restaurant. * Passionate about making high quality food to ensure guest satisfaction * Business savvy with a rich understanding of kitchen management practices * A supportive leader ready to guide kitchen partners in skills development, exceptional performance and financial goals * Committed to professionalism and delivering service excellence * Food Safe certified, demonstrating your commitment to food safety standards and regulations * Culinary school diploma or equivalent professional experience. * Excellent communication and teamwork skills. * Flexibility to work in shifts, including weekends and evenings. *More About What We Offer:* * Competitive Wages * Opportunity for growth * Health Benefits * Company Discounts ?
