Job details
Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year. or equivalent experience. Work setting: Various locations. Commercial. Residential. Tasks: Install gas heating units and their components. Measure and mark reference points for installation of gas lines and equipment. Service gas heating units and their components. Repair and service gas appliances and related equipment. Advise clients regarding standards, safety features and maintenance of gas units and systems. Test and adjust control mechanisms and check pipes and piping connections for gas leaks using gas detecting devices. Install and service propane and natural gas filling stations. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Physically demanding. Attention to detail. Bending, crouching, kneeling.
