*Job Summary* We are seeking a skilled SolidWorks Designer to join our team, specializing in the design and customization of equine stalls. This role involves collaborating directly with customers to bring their vision to life, creating precise 3D drawings, and ensuring efficient production workflow by nesting designs for our tube and flat laser machines. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, customer-focused, and capable of managing multiple tasks from design through to production. *Responsibilities* * *SolidWorks Design*: Create accurate and detailed 3D drawings and models of equine stalls and related products in SolidWorks based on customer specifications. * *Customer Collaboration*: Work closely with customers to understand their needs and preferences, translating these into finalized design plans. * *Product Nesting*: Prepare and optimize product layouts for tube and flat lasers, ensuring efficient material use and adherence to design specifications. * *Bill of Materials (BOM) Management*: Enter BOM materials accurately into our accounting and inventory software for seamless order processing and inventory management. * *Scheduling and Job Oversight*: Coordinate with production teams to schedule jobs, monitor progress, and ensure projects stay on track from start to finish. * *Quality Control*: Oversee design aspects throughout the production cycle, ensuring the final products meet both customer expectations and company standards. *Experience* * Proficiency in SolidWorks and experience in 3D modeling for manufacturing. * Experience with laser nesting software and understanding of material optimization. * Knowledge of BOM entry and familiarity with accounting or ERP software. * Strong communication skills for direct customer engagement and internal team coordination. * Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. *Preferred* * Previous experience in the equine or agricultural sector. * Knowledge of laser cutting processes and equipment.
