*Job Overview* We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in maintaining and repairing diesel engines and related systems. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who is capable of diagnosing mechanical issues and implementing effective solutions. The Diesel Mechanic will work with various types of equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety standards are met. *Responsibilities* * Perform routine maintenance and repairs on diesel engines, including inspections, diagnostics, and troubleshooting. * Repair and maintain industrial equipment, farm machinery, and other diesel-powered vehicles. * Utilize hand tools, welding equipment, and cranes for repairs and modifications as needed. * Operate forklifts safely to move equipment and materials within the shop. * Conduct electrical repairs on diesel engines and associated systems. * Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance performed on equipment. * Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects while adhering to safety protocols. *Experience* * Proven experience as a Diesel Mechanic or similar role is preferred. * Familiarity with Caterpillar , Cummins engines is a plus. * Experience working with HVAC systems, farm machinery, industrial equipment, and electrical systems is highly desirable. * Proficiency in using hand tools, welding techniques, and operating cranes is beneficial. * Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team. * A valid driver's license may be required for this position.
