*Millwright*
The Millwright is a unionized position. The Millwright is responsible for engaging in support activities with set up, inspection, installation and maintenance of equipment.
*Responsibilities*
Responsible for engaging in manufacturing support activities connected with the setup, installation and maintenance of production and related equipment, including chemical handling.
Able to install the equipment and align parts or components of the equipment, using hand or power tools or hoisting equipment if necessary
Perform routine maintenance, such as cleaning and lubricating or adjusting hydraulic and pneumatic valves and seals
Inspect and examine the equipment to find and investigate problems, breakdowns and to ensure that safety and quality standards are met
Follow Preventative Maintenance schedule on CNC machines, heat treat equipment, paint booths and spray systems and other mechanical equipment as required
*Qualifications*
Registered as a Journeyman Millwright or 2nd or 3rd year apprentice millwright and has documented experience to be engaged in manufacturing support activities
3 to 5 years experience within a manufacturing environment
Experience in maintenance and repair of CNC machines
Ability and competence to work directly from complex drawings and OEM Manuals
Strong working knowledge of manufacturing machinery, troubleshooting mechanical equipment and production processes
Strong command of the English language written and orally
Ability to recommend corrective action and implement required repairs
Basic welding skills: MIG, TIG, ARC, and Gas Welding will be considered an asset
Forklift and crane experience
