GREATER ESSEX COUNTY DISTRICT SCHOOL BOARD<p>Gale Hatfield - Chairperson of the Board Vicki Houston - Director of Education<p>International Language Instructor <p>In accordance with the OSSTF Continuing Education Instructors Collective Agreement, the Greater Essex County District School Board invites applications from interested, qualified candidates for the position of International Language Instructor.<p>International Language Instructors will instruct classes on Saturday mornings at a school site(s). Classes begin at 9:30 a.m. and end at 12:00 noon commencing Saturday, October 5, 2024 to May 10, 2025.<p>Job Summary: <p>Position KAREN InstructorDuties: Instructing students to learn the language KARENTerm of appointment: 2024-2025 school year This position is a one (1) year assignment, extendable on an annual basis by agreement between both employer and employee.Salary: $38.55 per hour (including pay for Vacation and Statutory Holidays) In accordance with the OSSTF Continuing Education Instructors Collective Agreement.Position Replacement Spanish InstructorDuties: Instructing students to learn the Spanish languageTerm of appointment: On-call for the 2024-2025 school yearSalary: $38.55 per hour (including pay for Vacation and Statutory Holidays) In accordance with the OSSTF Continuing Education Instructors Collective Agreement.<p>Nature & Scope of Position: Demonstrate strong collaborative, presentation, written and oral communication skills to support the delivery of the program. <p> Demonstrate a commitment to and documented success in working to create a fair, inclusive, antiracist environment for all stakeholders, and to supporting diverse constituencies and populations.<p> Assist with the promotion of the International Languages Program.<p> Experience working with youth and adult students would be considered an asset. <p> Current police clearance required.
