*Position Overview: The HR Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and managing the day-to-day operations of the Human Resources department, ensuring effective implementation of HR policies and procedures, and leading a team of HR professionals. This role will provide strategic HR support, while managing recruitment, employee relations, compliance, performance management, and overall employee engagement. The HR Supervisor will also collaborate with management to align HR initiatives with organizational goals and ensure a positive work environment.*
*Key Responsibilities:*
* Supervise HR Operations: Lead and manage the HR team in daily HR functions, ensuring smooth execution of administrative tasks, including recruitment, employee onboarding, benefits administration, and recordkeeping.
* Recruitment & Staffing: Oversee the recruitment process, including posting job advertisements, reviewing resumes, conducting interviews, and making hiring recommendations. Ensure recruitment practices comply with relevant laws and organizational goals.
* Onboarding & Orientation: Supervise the onboarding process for new employees, ensuring all necessary documentation is completed, orientation sessions are held, and new hires are properly integrated into the company.
* Employee Records Management: Ensure the accurate maintenance of employee records, including personal information, attendance, benefits enrollment, performance evaluations, and other employment-related documents.
* Payroll & Benefits Administration: Oversee payroll processing and ensure accuracy in timesheet data. Administer employee benefits programs, including enrollments, changes, terminations and timesheet.
* Employee Relations & Compliance: Provide guidance and support on employee relations issues, conflict resolution, and disciplinary actions. Ensure HR practices comply with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
* Training & Development: Identify training needs and oversee the development and delivery of training programs to enhance employee skills and organizational effectiveness. Promote a culture of continuous learning.
* Performance Management: Manage performance evaluation processes, support managers with performance feedback, and provide guidance on employee development and performance improvement plans.
* Reporting & Documentation: Prepare and present regular HR reports, track key HR metrics, and ensure HR data is accurate and up to date. Assist with compliance audits and regulatory filings.
* Team Leadership & Development: Lead, mentor, and develop the HR team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment. Provide coaching and support for team members' professional growth*.*
*Qualifications:*
* Bachelor?s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
* At least 5 years of experience in an HR role, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership capacity.
* In-depth knowledge of HR practices, including recruitment, payroll, benefits, compliance, and employee relations.
* Strong understanding of HR-related laws and regulations, including employment standards, health and safety, and privacy.
* Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with employees at all levels.
