Richelieu Hardware doing business for over 55 years is seeking an experienced Sales Representative for the Vancouver/Lower Mainland area*.* We are a large wholesale/distributor providing products and solutions to manufacturers of cabinetry for kitchens, bathroom, closets, also furniture components, glaziers, wood coating finishers and others. Our products range from hardware, board, finishing, consumable production goods to name a few. Our website www.richelieu.com can be viewed for our full range. The position would be responsible for growing territory sales. *Responsibilities* · Contacting customers from many perspectives (Phone, Virtual Meetings, Emails, Customer Site Visits. · Build relationships with customers; · Improve sales by optimizing the product selection; · Update the merchandising and present new products; · Respond to inquiries about products and services; · Participate in Sales meetings; · Prepare information packages and other necessary supporting materials; · Produce expense reports; · Maintain updated information for customer records, prospects and service proposals; · Contribute to the improvement of the development strategy and marketing plan; · Continuously updating all customers on company product modifications, changes, and enhancements. *Requirements* · College Diploma in Marketing or a related field, combined with relevant experience; · Minimum of 2 to 3 years of experience in a similar position; · Industry experience would be an asset · Main focus is to sell our product lines to Kitchen & Millwork Manufacturers, as well as other industry sectors · Must be proactive and creative in approach · Strong team player working with all departments constructively · Excellent English communication (written and spoken); · Good computer skills including MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook; · Self-motivated, detail oriented with good presentation skills; · Ability to work in a team; · Organized, autonomous, resourceful, hardworking; Job Type: Full-time Pay: From $75,000.00 per year Benefits: * Extended health care Flexible language requirement: * French not required Schedule: * Monday to Friday Work Location: On the road- LocationLower Mainland
