Word of Mouth Dentistry is hiring a full-time permanent Certified Level II Dental Assistant/Clinical Floater for our newly renovated and expanded clinic space! Our office is a well-established, fast-paced general dentistry and periodontal practice of over 30 years. Join our inclusive, vibrant and diverse midtown practice at Bathurst and Bloor. We are a fully digital practice with high quality equipment to offer our dental patients top quality care while offering our employees the top equipment they need to perform at a high skilled level with care and efficiency. The clinical floater/CDA would work rotating roles as a clinical floater and assistant. We are looking for a calm, organized and efficient candidate who can work independently using their certified level 2 skills while also working as a team player supporting each other. *The candidate must have written & passed the NDAEB in order to perform level II intra -oral duties in our clinic. You must be available to begin working at 8:30am until 5:30pm 4 days a week. We are closed on Statutory holidays. We look forward to receiving your application!* Job Duties Include: * Follow strict sterilization protocols in the labs and during procedures * Responsible for ensuring that both our labs are fully cleaned & instruments sterilized during the shift and before leaving your shift * Stocking up dental rooms before/after they are used * Ensuring dental rooms are sterilized after each patient * Setting up dental rooms for scheduled procedures during shifts for dentists & hygienists * Responsible for helping hygienists with probing and recording readings in the computer software * Maintain dental product inventory, organize supply area and place orders * Ability and good speed on taking digital x-rays & using our new panorex machine for both adults and children * Performing level II intra-oral duties by taking dental impressions with alginate and using our iTero digital scanner * Assisting Dentist during dental procedures (restorations, extractions, comprehensive oral exams, Invisalign, root canals, crown & bridge preparations as well as restoring implants with final crowns) * Reading/writing clinical notes in our dental software Qualifications required: * Must have written & passed their NDAEB to perform their level II intra-oral duties * Well organized, detailed oriented and neat * Pro-active attitude, calm, punctual, friendly, helpful demeanor, takes initiative and a strong team player * Tech savvy * Proficient written and verbal skills in English * Clear communicator If you wish to be part of our dynamic, diverse and reputable team, please send your resume via Indeed.
