The Executive Housekeeper plays a pivotal role in maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of the establishment. This leadership position is responsible for overseeing the housekeeping department, ensuring that all areas meet the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in custodial services, hospitality, and hotel management, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to excellence.
*Responsibilities*
* Complete cleaning duties
* Complete cooking duties
* Supervise and coordinate the daily activities to ensure efficient operations.
* Develop and implement cleaning schedules and procedures to maintain high standards of cleanliness throughout the facility.
* Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to ensure compliance with cleanliness standards.
* Train, mentor, and evaluate housekeeping staff, fostering a positive work environment and promoting professional development.
* Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring adequate stock levels while adhering to budgetary constraints.
* Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery and guest satisfaction.
* Address guest inquiries or concerns related to housekeeping services promptly and professionally.
* Maintain records related to housekeeping operations, including staff schedules, inventory logs, and inspection reports.
*Skills*
* Strong knowledge of custodial practices and procedures within a hospitality or hotel environment.
* Proven experience in industrial cleaning techniques and equipment usage.
* Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
* Strong leadership abilities with experience in team management and training.
* Exceptional attention to detail to uphold cleanliness standards consistently.
* Effective communication skills for interacting with guests and team members alike.
* Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
