Vixman Construction Ltd. is seeking a qualified candidate to fill the position of Draftsperson. Vixman Construction is a well established firm in the steel deck and siding/metal panel industry. Visit our website at (www.vixman.com). This is an immediate opening for a full time position. The successful candidate will work as a member of our drafting team under the supervision of our Chief Draftsman. Duties include the preparation of shop drawings, and the issuing of building materials for a variety of products. There products include steel roof and floor decking, metal siding and roof systems, composite metal panels (AMC), insulated metal panels (IMP) and fibre cement panels. The candidate will have strong mathematical and communications skills, as well as a high degree of skill using Autocad. Vixman offers competitive compensation including and employee benefits plan. Training can be provided based on suitability of the candidate. Requirements: -Graduation from a 2 year college program in Architectural drafting -Ability to read architectural and structural drawings -Strong mathematical skills -Good communication skills -Relevant industry experience is an asset.
