<h3>Job Description</h3><div>Job Description<div><p><strong>About Us:</strong> We are a family seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Support Worker to assist with the care of our elderly parents, aged 90 and 88, living at their home on the southern edge of Milton. This is a wonderful opportunity to make a significant difference in the lives of a senior couple by providing personalized care and support.</p><p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li><strong>Personal Care:</strong> Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.</li><li><strong>Mobility Support:</strong> Help with walking, transfers, and exercises.</li><li><strong>Medication Assistance:</strong> Remind and assist with medication schedules.</li><li><strong>Meal Preparation:</strong> Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding if necessary.</li><li><strong>Light Housekeeping:</strong> Maintain a clean and safe living environment, including laundry and tidying up.</li><li><strong>Companionship:</strong> Engage in conversations and activities to promote mental well-being.</li><li><strong>Communication:</strong> Regularly update family members on the health and well-being of the clients.</li></ul><p><strong>What You Have</strong></p><ul><li>Certification as a Personal Support Worker or equivalent;</li><li>Knowledge of procedures and techniques involved in administering simple treatments and related bedside care to residents. Must be familiar with department policies and procedures.</li><li>Must understand the basics of good sanitation and sterile techniques.
