Multicrete Systems Inc., headquartered in Winnipeg, Manitoba, is a leader in the Shotcrete and Concrete industry and we are now looking to expand by adding a new member to our Corporate Group. From the very start, Multicrete Systems has maintained high standards of integrity and service and dedication to these ideals are the keys to our past, the present and our future in the mining and construction industry. *Job Type: *Full-Time Responsibilities and Duties: * Assisting with the quotes to go out; * Creating a project team to create a plan for the project and assigning tasks; * Communicating effectively with the client to ensure all specifications of the job can be and are being met; * Oversee/Mentor the project manager to ensure the project is successful; * Overseeing the logistics, human resources, and billing for the project; * Ensuring quality of raw materials are in line with quality standards for the project; * Troubleshooting any problems with the project team; * Regularly review timings, budget, risk and project plans to ensure work stays on track; * Coordinating ?Post Project? review meetings. * Participate in contract negotiations; * Review contracts to create required budgets for projects and monitor budgets; * Review contracts to ensure Quality Control is considered to prevent foreseeable consequences; * Review and sign off on sub-contractors on site. * Monitor safety requirements and ensure staff are completing jobs in a safe manner. * Recommending policy and procedure improvements; Qualifications and Skills: * Minimum of 5 years? experience in a *Project Management *role in a heavy civil or mining setting. * A college diploma in Civil Engineering Technology or Degree in Construction Management. *Note: *a combination of education and experience will be considered. * Designation of P.Eng or PQS is an asset * Highly effective negotiation, communication and conflict resolution skills required. * Proven track record in delivering projects on time and on budget. * Strong ability to read and understand construction drawings, purchase orders, and contracts. * Proven track record in safety leadership with familiarity in current health and safety standards. * Proficient in Microsoft Program, including MS project. * Excellent problem solving, verbal and written communication skills. * Ability to multitask and prioritize workloads while thriving in a fast-paced environment. * Must hold a Valid Class 5 Driver's license.
