We are looking for candidates for our Toronto location, located at:
Prosserman JCC - 4588 Bathurst St. Toronto, ON, M2R1W6 (Bathurst & Sheppard)

* Part-time hours beginning in April or May, 5-10 hours per week (TBD)
* Staff Training Week: June 23 - 27

*ROLE SUMMARY *
The Inclusion Coordinator is Responsible for creating and actively promoting a comfortable and welcoming environment where every camper and staff member is treated with dignity and respect, in a friendly, personalized manner. The Inclusion Coordinator will anticipate and be responsive to campers and staff members' needs and requests.
*KEY RESPONSIBILITIES*
* Provide strategies for adapting existing programs to meet the inclusive needs of individuals participating at camp;
* Assist with interviewing and hiring one-on-one staff for camp and other seasonal inclusion staff.
* Train inclusion camp staff and provide ongoing support and coaching through the summer.
* Serve as a positive role model in the camp community and represent Centre Camp values through interactions with children, parents and staff.
* Assist with the design and implementation of appropriate strategies with a focus on maximizing integration opportunities.
* Respond to camper and staff issues related to social, emotional, and mental health, safety, and well-being.
* Ensure a safe program environment which may include actively supervising campers and monitoring their activities; deal with emergencies in accordance with departmental procedures.
* Create and facilitate communication plans between families and campers who require extra support.
* Offer one-to-one support to campers who need extra support.
* Assist staff members with challenging camper situations (outside of those identified in the inclusion umbrella) and provide ongoing support to staff to respond to the camper's behavioural, emotional and mental health needs.
* Consult with the Inclusion Team Lead about significant concerns and issues that arise to determine appropriate responses for campers, staff, and parents.
* Observe and document camper situations/incidents and monitor and report on progress.
* Attend and participate in all staff and camp/program related activities (training, meetings, staff socials) as required, prior to camp and during camp.
