Our company is "Driven by Customers, Powered by Trust."* *As part of our growth strategy, we are seeking a full-time Project Manager.* *Job Summary* We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Project Manager to oversee various projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a solid understanding of project management methodologies. The Project Manager will define the project?s objectives and oversee quality control throughout its life cycle in coordination with the Implementation Team. The Project Manager will also work closely with the Executive and Sales Teams to ensure timely and quality completion of construction process and strategies for the acquisition of new work. *RESPONSIBILITIES:* * Direct and manage project development from beginning to end; * Define project scope and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with executive management; * Develop project plans and schedule; * Effectively communicate project expectations to team members in a timely and clear fashion; * Communicate with customers on an ongoing basis; * Set and continually manage project expectations with team members and customers; * Draft and submit budget proposals, and recommend subsequent budget changes where necessary; * Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path; * Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools; * Track project milestones and deliverables; * Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation and presentations; * Issue status reports to the project team, analyze results, and troubleshoot problem areas; * Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans; * Define project success criteria and disseminate them to involved parties throughout project life cycle. * Coach, mentor, and motivate other project team members and subcontractors, and influence them to take positive action and accountability for their assigned work; * Build, develop, and grow business relationships vital to the success of the project. * Conduct project ?lessons learned? meetings and create a recommendations report in order to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements; * Develop best practices for processes, documentation and tools for project execution and management. *QUALIFICATIONS: * * PMP designation or 10 years in a similar Project Manager capacity. * Strong familiarity with project management software ? Microsoft Project, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook). * The ability to travel is a plus. * Excellent written and verbal communication skills * High attention to detail * Ability to identify and raise issues and risks and recommend actions to resolve * Ability to deliver projects on time with consistently successful results * Experience managing multiple resources against competing project schedules * Basic understanding of reading a floor plan * Possess a style that embodies a sense of urgency Job Type: Full-time Pay: $50,000.00-$80,000.00 per year Benefits: * Casual dress * Company events * Dental care * Disability insurance * Employee assistance program * Extended health care * Life insurance * Paid time off * RRSP match * Vision care * Work from home Flexible language requirement: * English not required Schedule: * Monday to Friday Education: * Bachelor's Degree (preferred) Experience: * Project management: 10 years (preferred) Language: * English (prefer- LocationMarkham, ON
