Job details
Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. Work site environment: Outdoors. All weather conditions. Work setting: Various locations. Willing to relocate. Tasks: Interpret blueprints or other instructions to plan methods or sequences of operation. Plan the incorporation of landscape structures. Read blueprints or other instructions to determine work requirements. Trim trees to achieve the desired pruning objective such as crown cleaning, thinning, raising, reduction, restoration, espalier pruning, vista pruning. Estimate costs. Survey and assess designated sites. Prepare contracts and tenders. Apply fertilizers, fungicides, herbicides, pesticides and other lawn care products. Direct crews who maintain the health and appearance of golf courses and their surrounding landscapes. Examine trees and shrubs to diagnose problems and disease. Plan and co-ordinate the growth and use of plants for landscaping, ornamental uses and other purposes. Plant and move trees. Area of specialization: Landscape construction. Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year.- LocationMission, BC
