Heritage Presenters are storytellers!At Fort Walsh National Historic Site, Heritage Presenters tell of the life and times of the 1870s and 80s in southwest Saskatchewan, of the Cypress Hills Massacre and of a historic North-West Mounted Police post.Rain or shine, Heritage Presenters operate the Visitor Reception Centre, provide orientation services, give information on local attractions, maintain sanitation, share history and culture, lead guided tours and serve to meet the needs of any and all who pay a visit. You will help visitors connect to Parks Canada and to the past by:• Shaping the visitor experience• Making connections between the past and present• Having conversations to foster understanding and appreciation of heritage and history• Creating safe spaces to challenge preconceived notions and talk about historical realities• Delivering programming for visitors that is thoughtfully informed and dynamic
