Job details
*Operational Control:* Manage the restaurant's daily operations, including inventory, ordering supplies, and controlling costs while maintaining budget goals.
*Kitchen Management:* Work closely with the head cook to ensure kitchen operations are smooth, efficient, and up to standard. The head cook reports directly to the General Manager.
*Lonsdale BridgeDeck - Restaurant Manager*
*Location:* 1211 Lonsdale Avenue, North Vancouver, BC
*Pay: *Base salary + tips
*Position:* Full-Time
*Schedule:* Wednesday to Sunday
*Key Responsibilities:*
*Drive Sales:* Implement strategies to increase revenue, manage promotional events, and oversee pricing strategies.
*Food Quality:* Ensure that all dishes are prepared according to the restaurant?s standards for taste, presentation, and quality. Regularly review menu items and provide feedback for improvements.
*Cleanliness:* Maintain high standards of cleanliness in the restaurant. Ensure that health and safety regulations are followed at all times.
*Staff Management:*
* Recruit, interview, hire, and train new staff members to the highest level of customer service.
* Oversee staff scheduling, performance reviews, and maintain a positive work environment.
* Ensure all employees adhere to company standards and policies.
*Problem Solving:* Address and resolve issues related to customer complaints, staff disputes, equipment malfunctions, or any operational challenges efficiently.
*Flexibility:* Jump in to assist during busy periods, ensuring customer satisfaction without compromising on service speed or quality.
*Qualifications:*
* Proven experience as a Restaurant Manager or similar role in the hospitality industry.
* Strong leadership, organizational, and customer service skills.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
* Ability to manage a diverse team and work in a fast-paced environment.
* Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in restaurant management.
* Valid driver?s license and willingness to work flexible hours including weekends.
