Supported by a network of independent sales agents across North America, SSM operates two production facilities within the Calgary area. To support its growth and expansion, SSM is looking to add a Financial Analyst to the team. *Responsibilities Include:* * Partnering with various leaders to develop KPI?s/dashboards. * Working with the Sales group on project reviews and error mitigation in terms of estimated vs actual costs, job profitability and full variance analysis. * Assisting with monthly and annual financial reporting requirements. * Driving the budgeting process across departments. * Performing budgeting variance and forecasting analysis including root cause analysis for major variances. * Collecting, analyzing and interpreting financial data to identify trends and provide insights into the company's financial performance. * Creating monthly financial statements by departmental reporting. * Presenting monthly financial information to the Senior Leadership Team. *Job Requirements:* * CPA designation (or working towards) with 3+ years? experience. * Advanced Excel skills. * Intermediate/Advanced understanding of Job Order Costing. * Intermediate/Advanced understanding of Cost Management. * Excellent verbal and written communication skills. * Experience in a manufacturing environment. * Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and prioritize various deliverables. *How to Apply:* Qualified candidates are encouraged to apply to Human Resources.
