*About Ontario Drive & Gear Limited * Here at ODG we shape and mold metal into workable gears and shafts to help drive Zamboni's, Tractors, Military Vehicles and much more. ODG operates out of 75,000 sq. ft. facility in New Hamburg, Ontario. *About the job:* ODG is looking for 2 highly motivated individuals who have at least 5 years of experience operating various types of Manual and CNC Machinery, with emphasis on Milling and Turning. *Essential Duties: * The successful incumbents must be able to demonstrate the following essential duties * Read blueprints, manufacturing drawings and inspection sheets (GD&T; tolerances) * Able to perform machine set-ups * Perform Quality checks / Complete first off inspection and in process checks using measuring equipment provided (manual/digital; imperial/metric) * Able to read and interpret a CMM / Quality reports * Make tool offsets and part adjustments to meet quality requirement * Identify nonconforming parts and follow proper reporting procedures * Able to read CNC programs and perform edits Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. *Educational and Work Experience Requirements:* * OSSD or equivalent * 5+ years experience operating CNC Machining equipment *What We Offer* * Competitive Compensation Packages * Pension matching after one year * Group Health and Wellness Benefits * Innovative Company Culture * Adaptive and Responsive Leadership * Dedication to Positive Change * Commitment to Social Responsibility * Climate Controlled Manufacturing Environment *Physical Requirements & Working Conditions:* * Standing * Walking * Twisting * Bending from floor to waist * Reach/stretch below shoulder * Lift/carry below shoulder, up to 50 lbs * Push/pull below shoulder Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: $25.00-$29.00 per hour Expected hours: 40 per week Additional pay: * Bonus pay * Overtime pay Benefits: * Company pension * Dental care * Disability insurance * Employee assistance program * Life insurance * On-site parking * Paid time off * Profit sharing * Tuition reimbursement * Vision care Schedule: * 10 hour shift * Evening shift * Overtime Ability to commute/relocate: * New Hamburg, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required) Experience: * CNC Machining: 5 years (required) Work Location: In person- LocationNew Hamburg, ON
