*Position Overview:*
Are you a problem solver with a passion for keeping things running smoothly? As our Logistics Coordinator, you?ll be at the heart of our construction projects, ensuring seamless mobilization of supply chain and services. You?ll play a pivotal role in managing project timelines, coordinating equipment moves, providing ad-hoc support and collaborating closely with vendors to ensure everything arrives timely and within budget.
*Key Responsibilities:*
*Logistics Planning & Coordination:*
* Coordinate and schedule project mobilization and all aspects of equipment moves.
* Communicate logistical plans with relevant internal and external parties.
* Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to ensure cost-effective and reliable service.
* Assist in creating logistical plans, and vac truck scheduling to reduce delays and improve operational efficiency.
*Supplier & Vendor Relations:*
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors.
* Negotiate rates, focusing on cost-effective solutions and resolve any issues, with supply chain or services, promptly.
*Project Support:*
* Assist operations and project managers with logistics scheduling and ensure materials and equipment are available for site mobilization.
* Manage ordering of project-specific materials and equipment, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery to meet project timelines.
* Organize and maintain project documentation, ensuring information is up-to-date and accessible for stakeholders.
*Problem Resolution & Reporting:*
* Assist in resolving logistics-related challenges and analyze data to identify opportunities for process optimization and cost-saving initiatives.
* Provide support in managing maintenance reports.
*Office Support:*
* Support office duties, such as answering calls, directing inquiries, and maintaining the team calendar(s) and schedules.
*Additional Responsibilities:*
* Fill in for Project Coordinator (PC) responsibilities during periods of leave to ensure continuity of operations.
*Knowledge, Skills and Abilities*:
* 1-2 years in logistics or supply chain management.
* Customer-service orientation.
* Strong problem-solving, quick thinking, communication, and organizational skills.
* Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
*Other*:
* 8-hour shift; Monday to Friday, 7 AM-3:30 PM (Extended and overtime hours may be required).
