If you love working in a fast-paced environment and have a passion for the ocean's finest offerings, this is the role for you! *Responsibilities:* * *Customer Service Excellence:* Greet and assist customers with enthusiasm, providing personalized recommendations and answering any seafood-related questions. * *Order Management:* Take customer orders using our POS system, ensuring accuracy and speed in processing. * *Cash Handling:* Manage cash transactions efficiently and maintain an organized and accurate cash drawer. * *Food Preparation:* Prepare food items, such as fresh fish, according to company standards and specifications. * *Food Safety Compliance:* Follow all food safety guidelines and sanitation practices to ensure the highest level of cleanliness and safety. * *Sales & Promotion:* Upsell retail items and promote special offers, helping customers find the perfect addition to their seafood selection. * *Workplace Organization:* Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring supplies and products are properly stored. * *Inventory Support:* Assist with stocking inventory and restocking supplies as needed to ensure products are always available for customers. *Qualifications:* * Strong math skills, with the ability to perform basic calculations and handle cash accurately. * Previous experience in customer service, particularly in a retail or food environment, is preferred. * Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks and prioritizing effectively. * Knowledge of food safety regulations and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with customers and teammates in a friendly, professional manner. * A team player with a positive attitude who contributes to a harmonious work environment. * Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends. *Note:* This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
