*About* NEW GRADUATES WELCOME TO APPLY! West Elgin Pharmacy is looking to hire a Part-Time or Full-Time Pharmacist. We are a rural community pharmacy located in West Lorne (between London and Chatham) under the PharmaChoice banner. We have recently completed a full pharmacy relocation to a bread new building! Our new modern location is fully renovated to create a more spacious, state-of-the-art, and dynamic practice site. We place a high value on patient centred care by providing medication recommendations, minor ailment prescribing, vaccinations, diabetic education, and more! We have excellent supporting staff, with 2 Registered Pharmacy Technicians and daily Pharmacist overlap. Our store hours are Monday to Friday 9am to 6pm and Saturday 9am to 3pm, some weekend availability will be expected. New graduates and Pharmacy Interns welcome to apply! We are looking for a self motivated pharmacist who is comfortable providing clinical services (ie minor aliments, diabetic education, medication reviews with compliance pack patients, and any other clinical activities that may benefit the community). Our ideal candidate is excited by the expanded scoop of pharmacists and is eager to build bonds in the community. *Job responsibilities* -Clinical and dispensing activities -Patient counselling -Over-the-counter recommendations -Managing drug therapy problems -Communicating and working cross functionally with prescribers -Vaccinations and Injections -Clinical check of blister/compliance packs -Minor Ailment prescribing -MedChecks -Pharmaceutical opinions -Prescription extensions -OUDT -All other reasonable activities within a pharmacist?s scoop of practice *Qualifications* -Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy (BScPhm) or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) from accredited university -Registered Part A Pharmacist with OCP -Injection trained and certified -Excellent written and communication skills -Clinical problem solving -Kroll proficiency (recommended) -Opioid use disorder treatment (OUDT) certificate (or willing to complete training after on-boarding) -CPR and first aid Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Pay: $65.00-$70.00 per hour Experience: * pharmacist: 1 year (preferred) Licence/Certification: * Pharmacy License (preferred) Work Location: In person- LocationWest Lorne, ON
