As a member of the high-performing senior leadership team you will be involved in the development, implementation and evaluation of the Ministry’s strategic plan, with the mandate to enable a globally competitive, thriving and sustainable agriculture and food sector.  As the Executive Director, Crops and Irrigation Branch, you will be responsible to:Provide leadership and strategic direction to a team of motivated professionals engaged in the development and delivery of the crop and irrigation priorities to meet the Ministry’s strategic goals and Saskatchewan’s Growth Plan goals;Identify and make recommendations to senior officials on opportunities, constraints, policies, research and resource management to advance the crop and irrigation sectors; andActively engage with stakeholders and represent the Ministry on committees, both internal and external to government.  The Ideal Candidate The Ministry of Agriculture’s deep-rooted values system of Innovation, Teamwork, Integrity, Service Excellence and Leadership at all Levels serve as the foundation to ensure results are achieved.
