*Job Overview* We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Certified Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our dental team in delivering high-quality services. This position requires a proactive individual who is passionate about dentistry and committed to ensuring a positive experience for patients. *Duties* * Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are prepared and available. * Take digital dental radiographs (X-rays) as required. * Maintain accurate patient records, including medical histories and treatment plans. * Educate patients on oral hygiene, post-operative care, and preventive dental practices. * Sterilize instruments and maintain cleanliness in the treatment area to adhere to infection control protocols. * Collaborate with other dental professionals to ensure efficient workflow within the practice. *Skills* * Proficiency in dental assisting. * Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients and team members. * Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. * A compassionate approach toward patient care. *About Us* At Enamel Dental Centre, we are a well established, non corporate dental practice located in beautiful downtown Penticton, right across from Okanagan Lake. Dr. Marino and Dr. Jung are looking for commitment from a motivated hard working team player that cares about people for a full time permanent position 3 days per week. We have a great team dynamic with wonderful staff and Dr. Marino and Dr. Jung have been working together for 25 years. We offer competitive wages and a great place to work!
