*Job Summary* We are seeking a skilled Metal Fabricator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for fabricating, assembling, and welding metal components according to specifications. This role requires a strong understanding of drawings and schematics, as well as proficiency in using various tools and equipment. The Metal Fabricator will play a crucial role in ensuring that all products meet quality standards and are completed in a timely manner. *Duties* * Fabricate metal components based on project specifications and drawings. * Assemble parts and structures using welding techniques and tools. * Perform welding tasks with precision to ensure structural integrity. * Utilize forklifts and cranes safely to move materials and finished products. * Read and interpret schematics to understand project requirements. * Conduct quality checks on completed work to ensure adherence to standards. * Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring all tools are properly stored after use. * Collaborate with team members to optimize production processes and resolve any issues that arise during fabrication. *Experience* * Proven experience in metal fabrication, welding, or a related field is preferred. * Strong understanding of basic math skills for measurements and calculations. * Ability to read drawings and schematics accurately is essential. * Experience operating forklifts and cranes safely is advantageous. * Knowledge of rigging techniques for lifting heavy materials is beneficial but not required. * Knowledge of plasma tables beneficial but not required.
