*Job Summary* We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the pharmacy operations by assisting pharmacists in various tasks related to medication management and patient care. *Responsibilities* * Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications accurately and efficiently. * Process prescription orders, including verifying patient information and medication details. * Provide exceptional customer service by addressing patient inquiries and concerns regarding medications and health products. * Support the pharmacy team with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and record keeping. * Ensure compliance with all pharmacy regulations and safety protocols. * Collaborate with healthcare professionals to enhance patient care through effective communication and teamwork. *Requirements* * Previous experience as a Pharmacy assistant or in a similar role is preferred. * Knowledge of medical terminology and medication administration practices is essential. * Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills. * Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks. * Excellent communication skills to interact professionally with patients and healthcare staff. * A commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to ethical standards in patient care. * Familiarity with Pharmclik RX (NexusRx) software is a must. * At least one year experience in pharmacy. * Pay is based on experience. * Main job will be inputting, filling and counting, phones and ringing patients out of the till. Friendly customer care is a must.
