*Job Overview* We are seeking a skilled Painter/with an emphasis on also being handy with tools, to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in both residential and commercial painting, with a strong focus on quality and customer satisfaction. This role requires an eye for detail, excellent time management skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. The Painter will be responsible for restoring surfaces, applying paint, and ensuring that all work meets our high standards. An aptitude for general construction/handyperson and possibly texture / drywall repairs would be an asset. *Duties* * Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and caulking as necessary * Apply paint, varnish, and other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment * Restore and maintain surfaces to ensure durability and aesthetic appeal * Put back shelving, plugs ,switches, lighting etc. * Strong masking paper/poly skills. * Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients * Manage time efficiently to meet project deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards * Collaborate with carpenters and other tradespeople as needed to complete projects * Maintain a clean and organized work environment *Qualifications* * Proven experience in residential and commercial painting * Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with clients * Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively * Familiarity with hand tools, paint products, spray techniques and materials * Drywall repairs/sanding * Attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship * Physical stamina to perform tasks that require standing for long periods and lifting materials as needed If you are passionate about painting and take pride in your work, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
