The incumbent provides supervision to students in formal clinical practicums. Education- Bachelor of Social Work (BSW)Experience- Requires a minimum of one year (postgraduate) recent recognized experience in a community mental health setting working with children, youth and families presenting with acute and chronic mental health problems.Knowledge, Skills & AbilitiesDemonstrates:- Knowledge of normal child and adolescent development and psychopathology.- Ability to identify, implement and evaluate areas of client difficulty across a wide range of clinical presentation and formulate evidence based intervention.- Knowledge of the diversity of cultures, values and traditions and their impact on accessing mental health services.- Knowledge of a variety of intervention strategies (individual and group) for children/youth with mental health and addiction problems in a community setting, including, but not limited to: assessment, triage treatment and case management.- Ability to work in partnership within the community and possess a broad knowledge of community resources including treatment p...For more information on this job, please visit the employer's website.- LocationRegina, SK
