Job details
Education: Master's degree. Work setting: Clinic. Tasks: Evaluate the effectiveness of counselling and the patient's outcomes. Record observations. Write progress reports . Provide therapy. Counsel individuals and groups to achieve more effective personal, social and vocational development and adjustment. Implement treatment plans. Perform administrative tasks. Maintain accurate records. Help clients manage physical illness and disorders. Liaise with community agencies or partners, and identify additional or alternative services and provide referrals. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Provincial or territorial licence. Membership in a professional association. Type of treatment experience: Behaviour modification or behavioural therapy. Client-centered or humanistic/experiential therapy. Cognitive therapy. Eclectic therapy. Psychodynamic analytic therapy. Psychotherapy. Brief therapy. Systematic/interactional therapy. Screening questions: Are you currently legally able to work in Canada?.
