*Role Overview:*
The Account Executive will be responsible for managing a defined territory and driving revenue growth by developing and maintaining relationships with both new and existing customers. This role is ideal for a motivated sales professional who thrives on capturing new business and building a robust client portfolio.
*Key Responsibilities:*
* *Sales Strategy:* Land, adopt, expand, and deepen sales opportunities with accounts in your territory. Build thorough account plans that detail customer strategies, financials, pain points, objectives, and key stakeholders.
* *Prospecting:* Proactively generate leads through calls, emails, networking, events, and creative outreach methods to develop a healthy sales pipeline. Adopt a strong value-based sales approach; always looking to bring a compelling point of view to our customers.
* *Sales Cycle Management:* Drive all aspects of the sales cycle, from prospecting and lead generation to client meetings, demonstrations, proposals, negotiations, and closing contracts.
* *Relationship Building:* Establish trusted advisory partnerships with executives in your accounts, leveraging our technology to help them achieve their strategic goals.
* *Cross-Selling and Upselling:* Identify and capitalize on upsell and cross-sell opportunities within existing accounts to enhance customer success and drive revenue.
* *Product Expertise:* Quickly learn and become an expert on SecureDoc and MagicEndpoint product offerings to effectively communicate their value to clients.
* *Collaboration:* Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure customer success and satisfaction.
* *Performance Tracking:* Forecast and track key account metrics, including quarterly sales results and annual forecasts.
*Qualifications:*
* Bachelor?s degree or equivalent work experience.
* 5+ years of customer-facing sales experience, preferably in security, identity management, or IT-related software.
* Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas.
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and influencing skills.
* Capacity to find and uncover new opportunities with prospects and existing client base through cold calling and hunting for business.
* Proficiency in effectively presenting and communicating technical solutions.
* Strong organizational skills and experience with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, MS Dynamics).
* Dynamic and competitive nature with a passion for winning.
* Experience conducting or assisting with software product demonstrations.
* Willingness to travel occasionally outside the GTA.
